Shizimen Gateway Bridge (The Cloud)

Conceived as an interactive point of entry into the new Shizimen Central Business District, the proposed bridge design draws from simple elegant forms found in nature, inspired by highly streamlined stingrays and colourful fish.
The bridge functions as an illuminated interactive crossing point, celebrating and creating a visual attraction along the water channel. This is achieved through the use of tried and tested construction methods, combined with a unique design of integrated lighting.
