Chris has extensive experience of the design, delivery, and management of projects across all stages. These include mixed use developments, master planning, residential, retail, commercial, education, and civic projects. He has worked with a wide variety of clients including international developers, private clients, government bodies, and universities and college trusts.
His current role is principal client liaison across all projects in the Middle East. He works closely with design leadership teams to establish project direction and interfaces with clients and other consultants to ensure that project proceeds in accordance with clients’ goals.
Presently in the region, he has been managing the design and delivery of landmark mixed use projects with Al Barari, Amaala, EIF, Emaar, DIFC, DMCC, Inertia, Meraas, Mirage, NEOM, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana, TDIC, TECOM, and Swiss Property to name a few.

Sonja Stoffels, Principal with 10 Design, has over 21 years of design and project management experience across Asia, Middle East and the UK. Sonja has managed and worked in a variety of large scale projects including offices, cultural and convention facilities, leisure and mixed-used developments. As a project designer and manager, she has covered design stages from concept, scheme, to detail coordination and construction. Her broad experience and skills have enabled her to bring in valuable insights in the realization of a project from a concept to a building, through the collaboration of work with the client, architects and consultants.
In Asia, Sonja is currently working on several projects in China including Zhuhai Huafa Plaza Mixed Use Development, Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase 2, and China Resources MixC Market Hall in Shenzhen, to name a few. She has also managed a few other projects in China including the China Merchants Bank Campus in Chengdu and the Poly Business Center in Shunde which are now completed.
Apart from projects in China, she has also worked on the Al Seef Hospitality project by Meraas in Dubai, managing design and the day to day communications between consultants. Completed in 2017, the development provides two hotels and waterfront retails serving the booming tourism sector in Dubai.
Being educated and trained in the UK, her involvement in various UK projects including the Manchester City Art Gallery, Butterfield Park Innovation Centre, and the Hyde Park Serpentine Boathouse at her early years provided her a strong foundation in architectural design and management, which grows stronger throughout the years of her practice.

Paul together with Design Principal – Gordon Affleck and their design team created and delivered the contemporary area of Al Seef, a regeneration of a half kilometer of Dubai Creek. This lifestyle destination, open in 2018, offers high-end boutique retail shops and restaurants and as well as two Hilton hotels branded as Canopy by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton.
Also recently built is his work for a rejuvenation of the urban realm around Dubai International Finance Centre. Soon to be added to his built portfolio are the two luxury residential developments for Al Barari Dubai (Seventh Heaven and Ashjar), both are near completion.
His projects have also been extended to Egypt for a 550 hectare Jefaira Seafront Masterplan and Architecture and Saudi Arabia for a number of high-end residential developments.
Paul also has extensive experience in design and delivery of education projects. He has led the design of numerous schools and campuses, most notably for the Queen Margaret University, the University of Edinburgh, the Robert Gordon University, University of St Andrews, and York University.
Paul has lectured and taught at the University of Dundee.

David is Director of the Architecture Line at Egis Group as well as Executive Director at 10 Design, Weston Williamson and SB Architects (part of Egis Group). He has worked in Asia, the Middle East and Europe for more than 31 years, with extensive experience in the leadership and organisation of large architecture firms.
From 1993-2009, David worked for Edinburgh-based firm RMJM, and was responsible for operations consecutively in Manila, Edinburgh, Dubai and Hong Kong.
David was one of the founding partners at 10 Design. Established in 2010, it is an International architecture practice headquartered in Hong Kong. As Managing Partner, David oversaw Business Development, Marketing. In 2017, 10 Design joined Egis as the first architecture firm to become part of Egis Group. David was appointed CEO and oversaw the integration process and developed close links with the Egis board.
In 2020, David worked with the Egis board to develop strategic development proposals for architecture in Egis, and commenced growth of the Architecture line: Weston Williamson + Partners, headquartered in London, with expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects joined Egis in 2022 ; and SB Architects, a San Francisco-headquartered design firm specializing in creating hospitality destinations.
Leonard has lectured and been a guest critic at a number of leading schools of architecture including The Bartlett UCL, Westminster University, The Welsh School of Architecture Cardiff, Scuola di Architettura Firenze, and Tongji Architecture School Shanghai. He has also contributed to journals, radio and television, internationally over the years, focusing on ideas such as Celebrating the Local, Open Urbanism, and the uses of data and technology in planning and construction. Project awards include RIBA National & International Prizes, British Expertise Award, Civic Trust, BluePrint, and AIA International Awards amongst others.

Catherine graduated from urban planning and completed her studies in interior design in Canada. After that, she worked as a trainee with a Canadian property development company, through which she has exposed to multi-facets of the real estate industry.
In 2000, she brought her experience to Hong Kong and joined a prominent international architectural firm as Head of Marketing, building the division from a 2 man team to a strong team of 12, responsible for the Asia and the Middle East markets. For Public Relations, she raised the Company's coordinates with the Company's 13 overseas offices and the parallel activities of the UK offices.
In 2010, Catherine together with 8 Principals set up 10 Design, leading the Company in her specialist area including Marketing, Branding, Public Relations & Communications.

Ted's team has won over 30 design competitions in Asia, including two large competitions in South Korea recently won by the newly founded Miami studio, and numerous awards most recently a 2017 Cityscape Dubai residential futures award. Ted has had articles and projects published in the South China Morning Post, Evolo magazine, Mark, Boston Globe, and AD. His work has also been featured on ABC's Right This Minute, Bloomberg, the Weather Channel, and in the ARTE-TV documentary L'ARCHITECTURE CLIMATIQUE.
He has recently presented at 100% Design Shanghai, Archi Fest, Tongji University, and at the NUTAU Housing Conference in Brazil. He was a juror for the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2017. Ted has taught masters level graduate architecture studios at Hong Kong University and at the University of Miami in 2019. He has been a regular guest critic at CUHK. He was recently interviewed by German Public Radio on how design thinking should be influenced by the probability of disaster. Ted recently taught two traveling studios in 2019 at the University of Miami, one with the University of Bahamas and the other with Suez Cap in Kuala Lumpur.
Research, design innovation, and collaboration are key drivers behind Ted's work. Recent explorations include a building skin that purifies the air, the Atomic Monticello, a collapsible/tornado proof suburb, and a famine resistant house/sustainable homeless community. A sustainable ultra-poor housing prototype is just starting construction in the rural Philippines.

Kate Geary is Principal with 10 Design. She has a passion for People, Culture and Diversity that has accumulated over her 18 years of international experience in HR and Talent management. She has lived and worked in Sydney, London, and Hong Kong.
Kate completed her studies in Sydney and holds a degree in Advanced Science (mathematics of management), a diploma of secondary education (mathematics) and an advanced diploma in business management.
Prior to 10 Design, Kate was the Resource and Operations Manager across Asia for one of the world's largest architectural practices. During her time with this practice, she was instrumental in the establishment of a professional recruitment structure for Asia, and played an integral part in driving forward global centralisation of recruitment processes and talent management across the practice.
In 2010, she was one of the first employees at 10 Design and has since played an important role in the establishment and growth of the company globally. Based in Hong Kong and overseeing our international studios, she is responsible for all areas of Human Resources globally as well as the operational management of the studios.

Peter has a key interest in the promotion of design excellence and collaboration in the planning and design process. His diverse portfolio includes master planning projects and urban design studies for green-field and urban renewal sites globally with specialist skills in the master planning of city centres, mixed-use, residential townships, resort and waterfront developments.

Chin Yong Ng (CY), Design Principal, Retail at 10 Design, has over 19 years of architectural experience throughout China and South East Asia. He specialises in the design and delivery for large scale regional destinations with a focus on retail.
CY and his team are developing the most forefront retail typology for China Resources to meet the fast growing retail market in China. In addition, he heads up the Architectural Interiors Team, providing a complementary approach to the current Retail Design Team.
He plays an instrumental role in winning international design competitions across China. Most notably are the Changde Waterfront Masterplan in Hunan; MixC Ningbo Retail Mall, Yao Jia Yuan Co-working Office in Beijing, Huafa International Gold Coast Garden; and Huafa Financial Island ICC Hengqin.

Lukasz Wawrzenczyk is Design Principal at 10 Design. He has over 18 years of professional experience throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. These include mixed use developments, masterplanning, residential, retail, commercial, and civic projects as well as interior and landscape projects.
Lukasz is well experienced in project design and management on various large scale masterplanning, hotel, residential, retail, and commercial projects.
In the Middle East, he is an integral part of the design team for Satwa Gateway and the Saadiyat Island Cultural District – Residential Buildings in Abu Dhabi. This project is strategically positioned amongst three world-class museums – Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. The residential project is developed within a 17 hectares retail complex.
Prior to joining 10 Design, he was involved in the design for The Star cultural complex in Singapore. It offers the state of the art performance venue for an audience of 5,000 people in a floor space of 38,000sqm and a retail space of 24,000sqm on four levels. The enormous 5,000-seat auditorium, by far the largest such auditorium in Singapore, also supports religious facilities.
Lukasz is currently Project Architect for the International Business Centre in Zhuhai – with GFA 127,000sqm of service apartments and office is designed to become a new landmark on the skyline of Jinwan Aviation City as well as an active and animated waterfront development at the northern end of Jinshan Lake.
In Turkey and Europe, Lukasz’s major experience include a large-scale integrated development project in the new financial center of Istanbul – Meridian Park & Entertainment Hub – which contains shopping, entertainment, and conference centers totaling over 600,000sqm; a hotel and casino complex in France; and a mixed-use urban development in Bulgaria.

Jennifer Poon is the CFO of 10 Design. She is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of accounting and finance experience.
Jennifer is leading the Finance Department of 10 Design to manage the finance functions throughout our global offices. She brings in insightful analysis on financial projection models and strategic financial planning to drive the long-term growth of our entities.
Prior to joining 10 Design, Jennifer has worked as CFO for listed and private companies across multiple industries, leading internal control, auditing, and investment projects globally. She is also well-versed in corporate governance, risk management, ESG and regulatory compliance.
Jennifer is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant of CPA Australia and a Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand.

Jason Easter is Design Principal with 10 Design with 18 years of international design experience. He has provided design leadership for an array of projects throughout Southeast Asia, USA, Europe, and the Middle East.
His work spans a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, mixed-use, civic, cultural, residential complex, hospitality and masterplanning projects where he has worked with the major local and international developers and government bodies.
In the past 8 years with 10 Design, Jason has been a key figure in the use of parametric tools within the architectural design process. He has focused this proficiency towards complex architectural geometries and facade design and development for several of 10 Design’s premier and large-scale projects.
Jason’s key projects include the Shizimen CBD super high rise mixed use tower in Zhuhai, China, which at 330m tall, was the world’s 10th tallest tower to complete construction in 2017. In the Dubai Bluewaters Island project, Jason led the façade design for the 10 Residential towers, 17 boardwalk townhouse units and 45,000sqm of retail and amenities podium facades. Subsequently, he led the concept design for the premier island’s feature mosque located on the adjacent plot.
Currently, Jason is working on the façade design for a large-scale gaming and resort development in Asia, where the design will provide brand identity for the new development.
Jason received his bachelor‘s and master’s architecture degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and The University of Pennsylvania respectively, and is a U.S. registered architect and member of the AIA. His personal and professional design work has been published in numerous print and web publications including Mark, Frame, PRC, BCI Asia Insight, Archdaily and AAS Architecture among others.

He has been living and working in Hong Kong for the last 26 years and prior to this, in Paris for 4 years.
Michael has been leading the design, management and delivery of the firm’s key projects in the Middle East, China, and Asia, working extensively with major local and international developers and government bodies. His expertise spans across diverse sectors including master planning, mixed-use developments, commercial headquarters, residential complexes, hospitality, transportation, cultural and civic buildings.
Michael's key projects include Swire Properties’ Taikoo Hui Mixed-Use Development and Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Guangzhou; Cyberport Mixed-Use Development and Hong Kong Jockey Club Shatin Communications and Technology Centre in Hong Kong; The City of Dreams Integrated Resort for Melco/PBL and the recently completed Lot 3C Galaxy Integrated Resort in Macau.

Kishor Lad is a Director at 10 Design. He graduated from the Dundee University in 1989 and has over 37 years architectural experience in India, the Middle East, and Asia.
He has directed the management and delivery of over 85 projects throughout the Middle East and India.
Kishor played an instrumental role as Project Team Leader for a number of other highly acclaimed hospitality projects in the Middle East including Le Méridien, West Bay Doha, Qatar and two Al Barari Residential Developments in Dubai, namely Seventh Heaven and Ashjar; both of which are currently under construction. Another flagship development Kishor project directed was the Saadiyat Island development in Abu Dhabi including the Masterplans for Marina District - Central Core Area and the Cultural Canal Integrated Commercial and Tourism Community.
In India, Kishor has led over 2,600,000 sqm BUA of projects including Badshahpur IT Park, Virender Gram Commercial Development, Nirvana Country II Espace Premiere Villas, and Karma Lakelands Group Housing. His most notable built projects are the Kolkata Airport Integrated Domestic and International Terminal, which has been in operation since January 2013, as well as the Kolkata Infospace Park Phase 1 - 3, built in 2012.
Currently, as Project Director, Kishor is managing the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the masterplanning and architecture design for Al Khobar Waterfront Entertainment Development in Saudi Arabia.
Peby Pratama is Design Principal at 10 Design. He has worked with several international architectural firms on numerous design developments ranging from residential, commercial, mixed used buildings, and masterplans internationally including the Middle East and Asia. Being surrounded in a creative and fast paced working environment, he has developed an exceptional computation design and concept design skills.
Currently in Asia, Peby is the lead designer of the winning entry for the 950,000sqm Pingsha New Town masterplan competition, a 375,000sqm International Seacoast Garden mixed use development in China, as well as the 143,000sqm 4th Road mixed use development in Zhuhai, China which began construction by late 2018.
Peby’s South East Asia experience extends across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, designing and delivering numerous commercial and residential projects in the region.

Edmond Lau is Principal at 10 Design. With over 20 years of architectural practice, Edmond brings his extensive statutory knowledge and project management experience to the studio.
He is proficient in China building regulations and is familiar with China statutory submission and approval process. He had great successes in obtaining statutory approvals for a number of large scale and complex commercial developments throughout the country.
His project management experience gained from his former tenure at a well-respected property development organization offers in-depth knowledge and skills on project execution and realization.

He has a strong technical background, a well-developed business sense, always challenge driven, and proficient in bringing together concept, craft, and construction.
Prior to joining 10 Design, Javier was responsible for the design and construction of Cultural, Civic and infrastructure landmark projects such as 40,000sqm CIDADE City of Culture in Galicia; 45,000sqm IFEMA International Exhibition Center in Madrid; 15,000sqm Cultural Center in Fuenlabrada; and 105,000sqm New Airport Terminal Building in La Palma.

Anthony Chu is a Director at 10 Design with over 18 years of architectural design and delivery experience. Working with international design teams in San Francisco, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, he has developed a rich architecture and urban design portfolio with projects in mainland China, Hong Kong, USA and Vietnam.
Anthony’s experience spans across diverse sectors including retail, mixed-use, transit-oriented developments (TOD), residential and adaptive reuse. Having led multi-disciplinary teams to work on all phases of large-scale mix-used developments, he is particularly well-versed in managing the precise delivery of design intent to maximize the commercial and social values of his projects.
