Museum of the Horse

The horse is famous for its poise and elegance, whether at rest or in movement. It’s physicality is both powerful and romantic and it is this elegant dynamism that has been taken as the inspiration for the museum’s external form and internal public spaces.
10 Design proposes a truly ‘built for purpose’ museum that is interactive, both formal and informal, providing grand powerful spaces with intimate areas of interaction and engagement.
The proposal balances architectural statement with function and value, creating a unique interpretation of the museum story whilst respecting the parameters of the brief.
