Huafa Snow World Draws Global Interest in Architecture Media
“Located in the city's growing technology hub, Qianhai Bay, 10 Design wants the development to be a place where people and businesses can connect. The site will be divided into three main clusters – an entertainment area on the western side, a culture and civic area that is integrated with the green axis, and a retail area designed to connect with the neighbouring buildings.” — Dezeen
Slated for a 2025 opening, the development will be an exciting addition to the city's landscape, featuring state-of-the-art amenities such as a JW Marriott hotel, a shopping mall, and office space. Huafa Snow World's innovative design and world-class offerings are set to redefine the standards for leisure and commercial experiences in Shenzhen and beyond.
“Rather than creating one imposing structure, we’ve broken down the building into a series of interlinked floating boxes to invite a sense of exploration within the dynamic mix of experiential retail, entertainment and space in the FUNMIX zone,” said design principal, Lukasz Wawrzenczyk, “It will also serve as an intriguing gateway to the ski centre.”
